It was where we wanted to be. The hotel was average and I would not stay there again.
Poor value for money
Too Compact. Not enough space for tea/coffee facilities.
This was a well priced place with a cellar door, bar and reasonable quality resturant , we ate across the road ,much nicer food and a better bar . we have stayed in this area before and there is not much in this price bracket around so its good value and a very plesent place , we will go back .the room was spotless and the staff at the resort very helpful at all times even when our car broke down in the car park. Also I must say I was suprised with the room size they are big. Free bottle and filtered water in the rooms and more available on request
Dont have a shower between 7.30 to 8.00 am there wasnt much water presure but by 8.30am it was ok again
Able to stay only 1 night....most venues in Hunter Valley require min 2 nights. Convenience and value for money were excellent
Somethings could do with a freshen up eg exterior paint, interior furniture basis and dated
Price is reasonable. Good for family with young kids to stay.
Carpet is either old or not clean, has it's smell
Toured the wineries
The room was dark and dismal, unclean and certainly uncomfortable. The wash basin in the bathroom was plastic and the plastic was very badly worn and therefore unhygenic.
Proximity to all the vineyards combined with great value for money
Location on Hermitage Road. Individual Wineries can be accessed easily by bike.
the cost for this property was way over value, would never recommend this resort
Approximity to Hunter Valley, the wine shop and the tour de vineyard - and the swimming pool.
Had expected better views over the vineyards. Our views were towards the tennis court and the rooms were pretty dark
Good location close to major attractions. The cabins were spacious and well equiped. Swimming pool and tennis courts also onsite.
When we arrived the bed sheets were heavily stained. I think the price reflects the location and not the quality of the resort.
The restaurant was very expensive and the only other alterative was to eat in the 'cafe/bar' area where there was very limited availabilty of food (ie a plate of cheese or some spring rolls) in the evenings. No room service available to serve food either so we ended up having to travel quite a distance to get something to eat. The standard of servicing the room each day was very poor and unacceptable.
Room was lovely, large ensuite and beautiful view out the back where you can smoke.
Can't complain bout anything really, I enjoyed d stay.
room was expensive not good value, breakfast too expensive not good value,we got the feeling they charge what they like because there is no where else to go, same goes for the bar prices $6.00 for a glass of draught beer on tap is a rip off
Closeness to the wedding we attended, opposite
the shower over the high bath
